DALLAS–Three longtime commercial production figures in Dallas have become partners in a new film and video production company that will also look to develop work in the entertainment arena.

Producer Larry Brown joined with former West End Post principal Jay Rydman and sound mixer and producer Blake Windham to found Forward Communications in the Irving, Texas, offices of Brown’s existing multimedia marketing firm, Forward Cos.

‘We’ve been friends for 14 years,’ said Brown, ‘and competitors as well.’

Each of the principals is folding existing businesses into the Forward Communications startup.

Rydman recently headed Rydman Dallas/Santa Fe, a production company, while Windham had founded Wylde Greene, a regional film and video equipment rental organization.
