FCB’s Anderson Takes Post at DDB

CHICAGO Foote Cone & Belding’s Chicago president and chief executive Dana Anderson is jumping to crosstown shop DDB, where she will assume the same titles, DDB said on Tuesday.

Anderson, 49, will report to DDB’s Chicago chairman Bob Scarpelli, who is also chief creative officer for the Omnicom shop’s U.S. network. Anderson assumes her new post next Monday.

Ray Gillette, 55, who was DDB’s Chicago president, takes the same title at a new office of agency offshoot Downtown Partners DDB.

At Interpublic Group’s FCB in Chicago, chairman Jonathan Harries said a new management team would be named shortly. Anderson has been president and CEO since September 2001.

Additionally at DDB, Pat Dermody, 47, will shift from DDB’s Chicago president of integration to president of the integrated services group for DDB’s U.S. operations. She will remain in Chicago and report to Dick Rogers, president of DDB North America.
