Fandom Inc., which has raised $25 million from prominent venture capitalists since it was founded less than two years ago, said Monday that it has only enough money to last another month if it doesn’t shut down its Internet operation or find a buyer for it or the entire company.

Fandom operates several Internet sites catering mostly to fans of the science fiction and horror genres. The company gets about 1.5 million unique visitors to its sites each month, but those visits haven’t translated into profit, CEO Debra Streicker-Fine said.
