Elizabeth Cook, outgoing president of the Advertising Club of Greater Boston, attended her 16th and final Hatch awards last week. Clad in black with a white scarf tossed around her shoulders, Cook said she “couldn’t believe” it was her last show.
Cook, who earlier this summer announced her resignation to pursue a new career, expects to stay on board until mid-January, when a successor will officially take over as president of the 7,000-member trade association.
Candidates for the job include Guy Conrad, former owner of an eponymous South Shore ad agency; Joan Jolley, executive director of the Newbury Street League; John Verret, a consultant who was previously vice chairman of Arnold Communications; and Judy Neer, managing director of Pile and Co.,
