Euro Recruits Top R/GA Creative

NEW YORK Havas’ Euro RSCG 4D has hired away a top creative from Interpublic Group’s R/GA and named a new managing director for its New York office, the agency said.

Ken Hamm, 35, has joined Euro RSCG 4D as executive creative director here. He comes to the agency following two years at R/GA, where he worked on Nike, Verizon, Bank of America and other accounts.

Hamm will oversee creative development at Euro RSCG 4D digital and direct operations in six U.S. cities. He joined R/GA as a copywriter after stints at Euro RSCG’s Fuel North America and Omnicom’s Hamm was then promoted to co-creative director on the Nike account, before he was named executive creative director for all online advertising.

Euro RSCG 4D also named Jane Barratt, 36, managing director of its New York office. Barratt has been at Euro for nine years, most recently serving as brand director on the Intel account, which Euro lost earlier this year. Previously, she was managing director of Euro RSCG in Hong Kong, where her clients included CNN, Dell and Intel.

Euro RSCG 4D is looking for a global CEO after George Gallate was named to lead Euro RSCG’s operations in Asia-Pacific, India and Middle East. Gallate is serving as CEO of Euro RSCG 4D until a replacement is named.
