Euro RSCG has hired a longtime Ogilvy & Mather executive as managing director of Euro RSCG 4D Amsterdam, filling a position left open after a leadership exodus earlier this year.

Christian Johansen jumped to the digitally-focused Dutch shop on November 1 after working at Ogilvy since 1998, most recently as an executive group director at it's New York office. Johansen will report to Floris van Hasselt, CEO of Euro RSCG Netherlands.

4D's previous managing director, Sanders Volten, left the agency in April, along with executive creative director Sicco Beerda, creative director Bram de Rooij, and strategy director Eric Ytsma, to launch startup agency Kingsday.
