Equal Sweetener Hears From 3 Finalists

NEW YORK Three shops have begun making final presentations in the review for Equal sweetener’s estimated $15 million advertising account, a company representative confirmed.

Pursuing the business are MDC Partners’ Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners and WPP Group’s Berlin Cameron/Red Cell, both in New York; and independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago, sources said. The client declined to identify contenders, but has said that a decision would be made in April.

The Chicago-based company was one of at least seven clients left in the lurch when Wolf Group Integrated Communications in Toronto shuttered its New York office in January.

Several clients, including the estimated $80 million Scotts Co. and estimated $10 million CIT Group accounts, followed Wolf Group New York creative director Mike Rogers to a new shop, temporarily called MLRogers.
