EMI Music has inked a licensing deal with pressplay, an online music service. Under terms of the agreement, pressplay will add EMI’s titles to its online catalog, which currently includes titles from Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group. Terms for the deal were not disclosed.

The non-exclusive agreement establishes pressplay as the largest subscription-based music catalog available for streaming and downloading online. The pressplay service is expected to launch this fall and will offer on-demand access to digital music through affiliate partners such as Yahoo!, MSN and MP3.com.
