EMA Rewards Werner With Partnership

ATLANTA Seth Werner, executive creative director at the Charlotte, N.C., office of Eric Mower and Associates, has been named a partner, the shop said.

Werner will continue his duties as executive creative director in Charlotte but will have an expanded role in the creative work at the shop’s five other offices. As the 25th partner in the shop, he will join the team that makes corporate decisions for the Syracuse, N.Y.-based agency.

Werner, 51, joined EMA in October 2004 from TM Advertising, an Interpublic Group shop in Irving, Texas, where he was a creative director. He also has worked at Foote Cone & Belding in San Francisco, Lowe Marschalk in New York and was president and chief creative officer of Publicis Mid America in Dallas.

Eric Mower, the shop’s chairman and CEO, said he offered Werner a partnership because of “his sincere commitment to his clients” and his creative skills.

“During his short time with us, Seth has made tremendous contributions to our agency and our clients,” Mower said. “The work of his Charlotte team has been recognized multiple times this year by top advertising trade publications and also has received much enthusiasm from our clients.”

EMA has offices in Syracuse, Rochester, Albany and Buffalo, N.Y., in addition to its operations in Charlotte and Atlanta.
