Edge To Poll For Audience Data

Twentieth Television and Carsey-Werner Distribution have joined with audience research company E-Poll to develop a new entertainment industry service called the Edge. E-Poll initiated the project as a real-world testing ground for its suite of applications.

In exchange for an undisclosed number of custom research studies and syndicated data at discounted rates, Twentieth Television and Carsey-Werner will offer feedback in criteria such as user interface, overall design, data validation, panel integrity and survey content.

The arrangement is for 90 days but can be extended. The Edge is designed to provide Internet-based syndicated entertainment research, focusing primarily on audience analysis, trends and attitudinal data.
