DALLAS-Edelman Public Relations Worldwide has reorganized its Texas operations and appointed an agency veteran to oversee its three offices in the state.
John Holland, a longtime Edelman manager who most recently worked in the international company’s Singapore office, becomes executive vice president and manager for Edelman Texas.
While in Singapore, Holland served as managing director, co-global director of the corporate sector and corporate sector head, Asia-Pacific for Edelman.
Under the restructuring, Edelman’s Dallas and Houston offices will formally combine forces. The two sites had previously operated as separate profit centers.
A new satellite office is also being established in Austin, Texas, to target technology and government relations work.
Holland will be based in Dallas and split his time among the three Texas offices.
In Dallas, senior vice president Blake Lewis becomes deputy manager. Lewis said he will be responsible for much of the day-to-day operations of the office.
Allison Ellis continues as vice president, with responsibility for consumer and hospitality business.
Laura Pennino retains her post as general manager of Houston and assumes the manager’s duties for Austin. Pennino will be based in Houston and continue her work as senior vice president and director of Edelman’s technology and business-to-business efforts in Texas.
