Acquires GTT Communications of Austin
DALLAS–Edelman Public Relations Worldwide last week acquired GTT Communications, an Austin, Texas, public relations company specializing in high-tech clients.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. GTT, founded in 1994, employs 16 people and has service offices in Dallas, Boca Raton, Fla., and Portland, Maine.
GTT will operate as a division of Edelman under the Edelman/GTT banner, according to GTT co-founder Miller Bonner. There are no client conflicts. Edelman is co-headquartered in Chicago and New York.
Bonner takes the title of national technology director for Edelman and will head up the firm’s technology practice in Texas.
