Echostar Review Comes To Halt

An agency search by EchoStar that was down to three shops has stalled but may start again in the fall, sources said last week. The agencies were Publicis-backed Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York, IPG’s Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis and independent The Romann Group in New York. The size of the branding project, a new assignment, was not known, but sources said it would be a small part of the Englewood, Colo., satellite-TV provider’s total outlay. (That was about $120 million last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.)
