Earthlink Awards PR to Text 100

BOSTON Earthlink has awarded its North American public relations business to independent Text 100 following a review, according to both the agency and client.

The shop will work on both corporate and product-focused assignments. “We’re going to focus on driving corporate positioning,” said Aedhmar Hynes, CEO of Text 100. “We also want to focus on differentiators, such as their technology and customer service.”

Text 100, which will run the business out of its office in New York, is establishing an agency presence in Atlanta, where the client is based.

The previous agency for Earthlink was Publicis Groupe’s Manning Selvage & Lee, New York, which handled the Internet service provider’s business for five years.
