NEW YORK Condom maker Durex has moved its domestic advertising account to Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness following a review, the agency said today.
The Publicis Groupe agency here takes over on the business from Fitzgerald + Co. in Atlanta.
Durex spent less than $500,000 on measured media last year, down from $2.3 million in 2007, per Nielsen.
“We were looking for an agency that understood the importance of connecting with our consumers across all touch points in all channels. Based on the agency’s creativity and insight Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness was the clear choice,” said Steve Mare, client brand manager, in a statement.
SSW CCO Helayne Spivak added: “Great work has been done in this category and we are more than ready to set even higher standards.”
The agency handles integrated marketing for clients including Nexium, Ambien, Plavix, Frontline and Transitions, among others.
