Droga5 on Wednesday launches its first work for Google-owned Motorola, a print ad touting the made-in-the-USA credentials of the forthcoming Moto X smartphone.
The independent agency will handle lead creative responsibilities for the brand. Droga5 confirmed the relationship, but declined to comment on specifics around the business.
Work on the brand's creative, previously handled by Omnicom's Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, was awarded to Droga5 this year without a pitch, according to sources. Droga5 will also have help from Publicis Groupe's Digitas.
The ad above will run July 3 in major daily print publications including The New York Times and USA Today, and will be followed by work across different media, including TV.
