NEW YORK Abacus, the data and research arm of Internet ad technology company DoubleClick, has beefed up its executive team.

Kyle Thomas has joined as executive vice president of sales. In the new post, Thomas will manage a 75-person team. The position was created to fill the vacancy left by former svp of sales John Healy, who recently became senior vice president of global sales at parent DoubleClick.

The Broomfield, Colo.-based DoubleClick division has also promoted senior vice president of operations John Lloyd to managing director of Abacus International.
