Terry Rosen has been tapped for the new position of evp, chief technology officer at Omnicom Group’s Doremus, effective immediately.

She joins the shop from Ogilvy & Mather in New York, where she was senior partner, director of information technology. In her new post, she will oversee a staff of eight and report to Doremus president Carl Anderson.

“It’s quite a coup for us to be able to bring someone of Terry’s caliber over here,” Anderson said.

The New York-based shop began searching several months ago for someone to help streamline internal technology applications and increase interactive technology components for clients, Anderson said.

“It’s hard to find IT people that are well rounded enough to look beyond the technical side of the business and extend the service side,” said Anderson.
