For the American Advertising Federation’s 2000 Central Pennsyl vania ADDY Awards to be held March 1, the Harrisburg-based agency created a call for entries whose pages contain paper dolls, their clothes and accessories.

Dress Up the Ad People spoofs stereotypes of ad professionals, with a creative director doll, who wears black and carries a cell phone and cigars, and an account executive doll, who wears a suit and says, “No problem! We’ll have that for you tomorrow!”

Of course, the booklet also contains info about submitting work.

Rudy Banny, shop vp, executive creative director, said the work “[plays off] the stereotypes, which truly aren’t stereotypes.”
