Disney Heads Client Influx at ASO

ATLANTA Ames Scullin O’Haire has added four new client assignments that boost billings by $10 million.

The independent Atlanta shop picked up Disney On Ice following a review against undisclosed New York and Boston agencies, according to ASO partner and creative director Patrick Scullin, who credits the agency’s Web site for attracting the Burbank, Calif., client. “We got a call from Disney On Ice’s presenters, Feld Entertainment, because of what they saw on our site,” he said.

Scullin’s background as marketing director for the Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers Circus also helped the agency secure a place in the review.

ASO will create national campaigns involving television, print, radio, direct mail and point-of-sale materials for two Disney On Ice events set to premiere in September at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

The agency added high-end food retailer Hannaford Stores of Portland, Maine, to its roster. ASO has been lead agency for Food Lion and Kash ‘n Karry. All three supermarkets are part of the Delhaize America Group. Ferrell Calvillo, New York, handled previous work.

Kodak Digital Group in Culver City, Calif., tapped the shop for a strategic brand and creative exploratory project, according to managing partner Tony O’Haire.

The shop’s fourth assignment is Science Oriented Solutions in Atlanta. The client provides outsourced sales and service personnel to the pharmaceutical industry. ASO will create and implement a marketing plan that includes advertising and collateral materials.
