BOSTON Digitas said it has named George Tannenbaum executive creative director of its headquarters office here.

Tannenbaum, 47, arrived at Digitas from Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco, where he was svp and group creative director. Prior to that, he worked Ogilvy & Mather on the IBM account.

“Clients are increasingly shifting brand dollar spending in the direction of our multi-channel marketing engines,” Rob Cosinuke, president of Digitas, said in a statement. “And we are passionate about creating engaging, active brand experiences for our clients’ customers.”
