ATLANTA Dieste Harmel & Partners has been awarded Hispanic advertising duties for General Electric’s corporate account, the client confirmed.

The Omnicom agency in Dallas won the business in a review that began for a subsidiary, GE Financial Assurance in Richmond, Va.

Zubi Advertising in Coral Gables, Fla., picked up the $2-3 million Hispanic account in that review, which, sources said, also included Vidal Partnership of New York.

Billings for GE’s Hispanic corporate account were not disclosed.

GE representative Alex Constantinople had said weeks ago that the winner of the GE Financial review would also be asked to work on a “corporate component” in 2003 that includes work for parent GE.
