Sales have soared over the rainbow since the launch of the “Experience the rainbow” campaign last summer: Retail sales have jumped 10 percent, according to Information Resources, Inc.

Unaided awareness up three points, according to Ipsos-ASI.

According to comScore Media Metrix, the site received 318,000 visitors in June 2005, compared to 11,000 visitors in June 2004.

“Experience the rainbow” has reinvigorated the Skittles brand and successfully launched new Skittles products, including Skittles Bubble Gum. While retail sales of nonchocolate candy have been hit hard by the low-carb craze, Skittles saw sales grew 10 percent to nearly $80 million for the 52 weeks ending July 10, 2005.
