LOS ANGELES-Di Zinno Thompson Integrated Marketing Solutions escaped with top honors from the recent San Diego Creative Show.
The shop garnered a total of 24 awards, plus Best of Show for an outdoor billboard titled “Escape” for the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau. Also, agency president Tom Di Zinno was presented with the Paula E. Sullivan Award for outstanding career achievement.
Other gold winners at the April 30 show in La Jolla, Calif., included VitroRobertson, Phillips-Ramsey, Matthews/Mark and AdWurx Idea Manufacturing.
Separately, Karsh & Hagan was the top winner at the recent Denver Ad Show. The agency won Best of Show for a humorous TV spot for the Colorado Lottery featuring Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors.
K&H also won a Judges choice award for a Boker knife ad. Other winners included TDA Advertising and Design for its Boulder Planet campaign, Pierson Hawkins Advertising for a Gioia Lingerie poster and Incite Films for a KRFX The Fox TV spot.
Denver’s 37 gold winners move on to the American Advertising Federation’s 12th District competition. ƒ
