IPG’s Deutsch has added a second ecd to its New York creative department: former Tribal DDB exec Steve Nesle will now focus on digital efforts across all clients at Deutsch N.Y. The office’s other ecd, Bill Tsapalas, focuses on the PNC and Kodak accounts. Nesle will also be responsible for traditional brand building and some new business development, said CCO Greg DiNoto. About 50 creatives work at Deutsch N.Y., with roughly half known primarily for their digital skills, according to DiNoto. Other office clients include DirectTV, Novartis and Got Milk. Nesle spent more than four years at the New York office of Omnicom’s Tribal DDB, where he led the creative department on efforts such as “Shave everywhere” for Philips’ Norelco shavers. He left the agency earlier this year.
