SYDNEY – In the restructuring of its Australian operation, Dentsu has sold BAM-SSB’s Adelaide office to Young & Rubicam, the biggest shop in the city. BAM-SSB chairman Malcolm Spry said the future of the Melbourne office is also dubious following two major recent losses, Colonial Mutual and part of British Petroleum, which totaled some $4 million in billings and 1992’s $9-million loss. Spry said the Melbourne office might either be sold or merged with another agency.
