DETROIT Former GSD&M creative director Cameron Day has joined Omnicom Group’s BBDO as Chrysler brand creative director, BBDO said.

Day will handle duties that were previously the responsibility of Bill Morden, BBDO vice chairman and chief creative officer of the Troy, Mich., agency. Day will report to Phil Gant, the agency’s executive vice president, executive creative director. His counterparts are Sam Sefton and Rick Dennis on Dodge and Robin Chrumka and Mike Stocker on Jeep. It has not been determined if or when a second Chrysler brand creative director will be hired to partner with Day, a BBDO representative said.
