Danoo, the digital out-of-home company that recently acquired Ideacast, named Garry McGuire, Jr. as its new chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors, the company announced Wednesday (July 22). Most recently McGuire served as chairman if Icon Internet Ventures, which owns and publishes Web sites that aggregate target audiences.

McGuire succeeds Aileen Lee, who becomes chair of Danoo’s board and returns to her role as partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Danoo’s venture capital firm.
