Dan Mahan, former Los Angeles Advertising Club president, died Jan. 25 after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 61.
Mahan was executive vice president of The Project Leadership Group, a consortium of executive talent specializing in sales and marketing strategies for media and other communications companies. His clients included Aramark Corp., McClatchy Newspapers and Pacific Bell.
During his long career, Mahan held top-level sales and marketing posts with several newspaper and magazine groups. He presided over the L.A.
