BOSTON-Mike Gillespie, the former director of business development at bankrupt Cuneo Sullivan Dolabany, has launched what he calls a “targeted marketing” firm specializing in the international and Hispanic markets.
Working from his home in North Reading, Mass., Gillespie is under contract to help promote tourism and economic development for Nova Scotia in New England and the governor’s office for Puerto Rico in Boston, he said.
While at Cuneo, Gillespie helped develop marketing programs for Chevy Dealers of New England and Brinks Home Security that targeted Hispanic consumers, he said.
A Puerto Rican film festival scheduled for late November is being underwritten by Fleet Financial Group and The Boston Globe, Gillespie said.
