Vapotherm has as-signed its advertising and public relations duties to Crosby Marketing Communications without a review. Billings are undisclosed.

The Annapolis, Md.-based company manufactures medical devices for people with chronic respiratory problems, said agency president Ray Crosby.

CMC will help launch an as-yet-unnamed product that delivers high-flow breathing gasses.

Crosby said trade advertising targeting hospitals, physicians and healthcare providers will tout the new product’s comfort over traditional breathing systems.

“Patients wearing this [device] can eat and talk. They’re less likely to rip it off,” Crosby said.

CMC is also located in Annapolis.
