Cronin/Wallwork Curry Wins Digital Federal Credit

BOSTON Cronin/Wallwork Curry has picked up ad chores for New England’s largest credit union.

The Boston shop, a unit of Cronin & Co. in Glastonbury, Conn., added the account of Digital Federal Credit Union following a review. The Maynard, Mass., client is a nonprofit financial cooperative providing banking and other services for more than 175,000 members in all 50 states.

Cronin/Wallwork Curry is tasked with creating a multifaceted branding campaign that will support the client’s expansion into the greater Boston area, according to agency senior vice president and management supervisor Jim Rowean. The client operates about a dozen branches in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

The campaign, budgeted in the high-six figures, is scheduled to launch in the fall, Rowean said.

Previously, the client had handled advertising through its in-house marketing department. Review contenders were not disclosed.

Cronin/Wallwork Curry recently won work for Keurig Premium Coffee Systems and AGA Foodservice Group. The agency has plenty of banking expertise, having worked in the late 1990s for Medford, Mass.-based Century Bank, while its parent Cronin & Co. currently handles Liberty Bank in Middletown, Conn.
