Crone Joins Denmark’s Management Team

ATLANTA Jim Crone has arrived at Denmark Advertising as executive vice president, responsible for leading its branding, interactive and public relations practices, the agency said.

Previously, Crone, 43, was managing director of independent Atlanta shop Huey/Paprocki Advertising, which closed last April.

Crone becomes the third member of Denmark’s leadership team, joining agency president and CEO Priscilla Jessup and creative director Todd Haislip. Crone was added to the staff to help the independent Atlanta agency manage growth, which reached 30 percent last year from new accounts and increased spending by existing clients, Jessup said.

“Growing our agency leadership team is a natural step that helps ensure we continue to exceed our clients’ expectations and attract top talent,” Jessup said.

Crone said he would concentrate on increasing services for existing clients, landing new accounts and managing the agency’s growth.

“Having been a marketing director, I recognize the value of having such a wealth of integrated disciplines and talent under one roof,” Crone said.

Crone also has worked in management positions at BBDO and Ogilvy & Mather, both in Atlanta, and Lintas in New York. He has worked on accounts for American Express, Coca-Cola, Eastman Kodak, Hitachi, IBM and Yahoo.

Denmark added the Pulte Homes and Wheeler Building Products accounts last year.
