The Holmes Group’s Rival Kitchen Products has contacted about a dozen small and midsize agencies in the Northeast about advertising for its Crock-Pot brand of slow cookers, sources said last week. Boston independent Connelly Partners handles the brand. The Milford, Mass.-based client spent about $1 million on advertising for Crock-Pot last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
