Cramer-Krasselt’s Mirro Account On Front Burner

Cramer-Krasselt in Milwaukee last week topped three other finalists for Mirro Co.’s estimated $3 million ad account.
Mirro is considering a major branding effort for its Wearever line of cookware, said David Merten, vice president of merchandising for the Manitowoc, Wis.-based division of the Newell Co.
Other contenders were incumbent Liggett-Stashower and Meldrum & Fewsmith, both in Cleveland; and McConnaughy Stein Schmidt Brown, Chicago, Merten said.
C-K was chosen because it demonstrated the best mix of strategic and creative abilities, Merten said. “It was the balance of all their strengths,” he said. “I want an agency that’s going to be very involved in our business.”
