Covaro Networks Awards PR to M/C/C

DALLAS M/C/C has picked up public relations duties for Covaro Networks, an Ethernet service provider, the shop said.

The Dallas agency, which will work with the client on a project basis, secured the assignment following a review with undisclosed contenders.

“We have worked with M/C/C during our initial formation and organization stages, and they have helped to raise our profile considerably during that time,” said Covaro vice president of marketing Fred Ellefson.

The agency said it would work to promote Covaro’s products and services to its target audience, which consists of tier 1, 2 and 3 telecommunication carriers in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The client plans to expand its efforts to the international market in late 2004.

M/C/C began work this week, helping introduce the company to industry analysts. Its first new product launch for Covaro will break in late June in conjunction with Supercomm 2004, a conference for communication service providers and private network managers. The campaign will include public relations support and direct mail pieces targeted at attendees, the shop said.

Covaro Networks is based in Richardson, Texas. Billings were undisclosed.
