Couture, Grads, Lawyers Converge at NourzAds

DALLAS NourzAds said it has picked up advertising duties for three new clients: Darby Scott, Texas Exes and Motley Rice.

The Austin, Texas, independent agency landed the ad account of Darby Scott, a designer of couture clothing and handbags, following a review against one undisclosed contender. There was no previous agency of record.

NourzAds has been charged with redesigning the client’s Web site, creating style boards for upcoming product launches in the U.S. and abroad, and developing packaging designs. The site will showcase Darby Scott’s collections, which are sold at retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. The new site is expected to go live this Friday, the shop said.

In addition, NourzAds has added Texas Exes and Motley Rice for project-based assignments. Texas Exes, an alumni association of the University of Texas, has chosen the agency to conduct market research and develop a new Web site, which will debut this month.

Motley Rice, a South Carolina-based litigation firm specializing in personal injury and product liability, has tapped the shop to develop ongoing collateral and direct-mail programs to help market its legal services to prospective clients and co-counsels.

Annual billings for the three accounts are undetermined, according to George Elliman, vp of business development at NourzAds.
