Los Angeles agency Kovel/Fuller may have found the cure for the common cold.
The shop has been awarded ad duties for Zicam (shown here), a homeopathic nasal gel that helps reduce the duration of the average cold from about two weeks to 36 hours, according to Hank Landau, president of Zicam parent company Gel Tech.
The agency bested several undisclosed Los Angeles-area shops for the estimated $5-10 million account, said sources.
Landau cited Kovel/Fuller’s “great creative” and its planning and packaged goods experience as reasons for the selection.
