NEW YORK Coca-Cola “Heist” from Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, Ore., won the 2009 Emmy Award for outstanding commercial at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday.
 
The animated spot, directed by Todd Mueller of Psyop, features a sleeping man’s Coca-Cola being stolen by a well-coordinated team of bugs.
 
Other nominated commercials: Nike’s “Bottled Courage” and CareerBuilder’s “Tips, both by W+K;” Sprint’s “Wedding” from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; AmEx’s “Airport Lounge” by Ogilvy & Mather; Hulu’s “Alec in Huluwood” by Crispin, Porter + Bogusky; and Budweiser’s “Circus” and Bud Light’s “Magazine Buyer,” both from DDB in Chicago.
