LOS ANGELES Sunglasses maker Oakley said it has named Lee Clow, chairman and worldwide creative director at TBWA and TBWA\Chiat\Day, to its board of directors.

Clow, who in his 30-year ad agency career has led such efforts as Apple Computer’s “1984” spot and recent “Think Different,” campaign, as well as Nike’s introduction of “Air Jordan,” fills a spot vacated by Michael Jordan. The Washington Wizards basketball player has resigned to focus on other organizations and charities, according to a statement issued today by Oakley.
