LAS VEGAS CLM BBDO in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, won a Grand Clio for an Alka-Seltzer print effort here at Tuesday’s Communications Awards presentation at the 50th annual CLIO Awards.

For the first time, prizes were awarded for strategic communications/public relations campaigns. The inaugural gold CLIOs in PR were won by Edelman, Chicago, for Brita, and Ketchum, San Francisco, for Haagen-Dazs.

The Communications prizes recognize excellence in print, direct mail, radio, poster and billboard media.

In honor of the CLIOs’ 50th anniversary, the three-day CLIO Festival features decade-themed awards shows.
