Clio Awards Adds ‘Future Gold’ Program

NEW YORK The Clio Awards will host a new program this year for creatives under 30 years old, titled “Future Gold: Young Creatives Portfolio Review.”

Twelve creatives will be selected to participate in the program. A panel of Clio judges will review their portfolios during the awards festival, which is taking place May 15-18 in Miami. Participants will also receive admission to all events during the festival and free lodging.

“It’s really simple: Future gold reflects our commitment to the next generation of creatives,” said Clio executive director Ami Brophy. “The Clio mission actually reads we want to award creative excellence in advertising and design and to assist the next generation of creatives. We just reexamined that and decided to really fulfill it as much as we could this year.”

Applicants must not be enrolled in an ad school. Applications are available at, and the deadline for submissions is March 15.

The Clio Awards are owned by VNU, Adweek‘s parent company.
