Cliff Freeman Snags Taxi Exec as ECD

NEW YORK MDC Partners’ Cliff Freeman and Partners said it has hired Tom Christmann as executive creative director. He succeeds Arthur Bijur, an agency co-founder, as ecd. Bijur becomes vice chairman, a new position, with a mandate for “spearheading new creative initiatives,” the agency said in a statement.

Christmann, 37, who has already joined the agency here from crosstown shop Taxi, reports to chairman and CCO Cliff Freeman.

At Taxi as a cd, Christmann worked on accounts such as Amp’d Mobile, Blue Shield of California and Molson Canadian.
