NEW YORK MDC Partners’ Cliff Freeman and Partners has hired Jeff McClelland as its CEO, effective immediately, the agency confirmed.
McClelland, 43, steps into a new role at the New York-based shop: founder Cliff Freeman is chairman and chief creative officer.
“I’ve been looking for a CEO for 16 years,” said Freeman, in a statement. “We’ve tried the managing director role, EVP and outside senior business consultants to help lead the agency. Sixteen years and many prospects later, I finally found the perfect fit.
