Cliff Freeman Advances 2 CDs

NEW YORK MDC Partners’ Cliff Freeman and Partners has made two key creative promotions, bumping up Lee Seidenberg and Brad Emmett to vp, group creative directors, new positions, effective immediately.

The pair had been associate creative directors at the New York shop for three years. Before that, they spent time at agencies such as BBDO and DeVito/Verdi, both in New York, and WestWayne in Atlanta.

Seidenberg, 33, and Emmett, 32, are responsible for assisting shop ecd and founding partner Arthur Bijur with running the 14-person creative department and will continue to lead the Baskin-Robbins and Snapple accounts.

In a statement, shop founder and CCO Cliff Freeman said, “These appointments are an indication of my belief in the talent of Lee and Brad. Their work speaks for itself. With this promotion they’ll join the operating committee of the agency and help the leadership write the next great chapter of Cliff Freeman.”

Seidenberg and Emmett also give instruction at 101, The Ad School.

“We’re lucky to have award-winning creative people with such diverse interests and talent such as Lee and Brad. Cliff recognizing them was a natural, given their talent and results for the brands they’ve worked on. I look forward to their continued thinking for clients and for the CFP brand,” said Jeff McClelland, agency CEO.

The shop’s other clients include CBS, Prince Sports, YouthAIDS (a government-funded account) and The One Show.
