Citizens Bank Hires Renamed Mangan Holcomb

DALLAS Mangan Holcomb Rainwater Culpepper has shortened its name and lengthened its roster, adding Citizens Bank of Batesville to its clientele, the ad agency said.

The Little Rock, Ark., shop’s new name, Mangan Holcomb Partners, comes with a new brand identifier, “Power Ideas,” that represents the agency’s ability to use traditional marketing disciplines in nontraditional ways, said president and CEO Steve Holcomb.

Mangan Holcomb was the agency’s name before the addition of partners David Rainwater and Chip Culpepper, Holcomb said. The newest partner is Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl.

The agency’s newest client, Citizens Bank of Batesville, was established in 1953 by a group of local businessmen and now ranks as the largest financial institution in Arkansas’ Independence County, MHP said.

The shop will develop advertising and public relations campaigns for the bank and conduct market research through its MarketSearch division, the agency said.

“They really know Arkansas’ competitive banking landscape and that will greatly benefit Citizens in meeting its business objectives,” said Kevin “Kip” Norton, president and CEO of Citizens Bank.
