Sony Pictures Entertainment has consolidated all newspaper buying duties for its theatrical releases at McCann-Erickson, leaving behind more than a dozen small shops around
the country. The consolidated account is worth approximately $75 million, according to industry estimates.
McCann’s Los Angeles office has been scooping up newspaper buying duties for Sony Pictures in markets across the country for about a year, according to agency senior vice president, management representative Terrence Powers (shown here), who has worked on the business since 1985.
