NEW YORK — CIA Medianetworks, a division of the Tempus Group, has won the global media account for Singapore Airlines. Although spending is still to be determined, the airline’s spending on print and out-of-home advertising is expected to reach $10 million and cover 38 territories including the U.S., sources said.

CIA’s Singapore office pitched the business, beating out MindShare, OMD and Zenith, said Katja Fischer, a senior vice president and global account director for CIA.

The airline is planning to launch a new route to Chicago and will likely concentrate its media spending in that area, a source said.
