Church & Main Scores With Passumpsic Bank

BOSTON Church & Main said it has won the six-figure ad account of Passumpsic Savings Bank, one of Northern New England’s largest independent financial institutions. New work is slated to break in the first quarter.

Church & Main in Keene, N.H., takes over on the assignment from Bedford Granite Group in Bedford, N.H. The former was selected following a review in which the latter participated. Other undisclosed shops also went after the business.

Currently, the St. Johnsbury, Vt.-based bank’s slogan is “Your partner in financial success.” Creative from Church & Main is in development and it has not been decided if a new positioning will be introduced.

The win is important for the independent shop because it broadens Church & Main’s financial services portfolio. “They have a longtime commitment to Vermont and the communities they serve,” said agency president Elizabeth V. Brown. “We look forward to building a longtime relationship with them.”

Church & Main is independently owned, employs 15 staffers and works for a mix of clients in the medical, banking and insurance fields.
