DETROIT General Motors’ Chevrolet division has signed a three-year deal with Chicago Bulls rookie guard Jay Williams to appear in Chicago and northwestern Indiana dealer advertising.

Williams, who was named 2002 Chevy College Player of the Year, will appear in television, radio and print ads and will participate in community outreach programs on behalf of Chevy. Campbell-Ewald’s retail division in Warren, Mich., handles creative.

One TV spot, already produced, shows Williams repeatedly dunking a basketball during practice.
